2020

Grupo Último Plano Founded

Grupo Último Plano, founded by researchers Forest Engineer Bruno Nascimento Santos and Heitor Santos Bitencourt, was established with the goal of bringing together minds from Brazil and Latin America across all fields of knowledge in a project focused on economic development, guiding the path toward economic sophistication and fostering innovation and technology worldwide. With a diverse team composed of collaborators from more than a dozen public higher education institutions in Brazil, engineers, professionals, and researchers, the group has created an unprecedented networking initiative at the South American level.

2022

GEDALIF Established at UNESP

The group developed GEDALIF (Academic Development Group in English and French Language), which was later institutionalized at the São Paulo State University (UNESP)/Botucatu, receiving public funding from the State of São Paulo, Brazil, to support the initiative.

2023

Launch of ENT CO

The group launched the startup ENT CO, which focuses on studying genotype-environment interactions, particularly in relation to hemp in Uruguay. ENT CO continues to expand globally, gaining the trust of society through the work developed by young Brazilian and Uruguayan entrepreneurs.

2024

Scientific Mini Workshop

A scientific mini workshop was announced, offered free of charge to the entire society. The event attracted more than 150 participants over two days of lectures, bringing together professors from the Federal University of Santa Maria, the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, the São Paulo State University, and even representatives of cultivation associations in Brazil. The audience included students, market professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, and members of civil society from four different countries in its first edition.
